My mother has been very sick in ICU for two weeks. She was taken to surgery twice in a week for extensive abdominal surgery. On the night of October 25th Kim noticed my mother's left foot was cooler than the right and monitored her closely all night. By morning she had no pulses in the foot and brought it to the attention of the doctor. Dr. S took her to the OR Sunday and successfully removed a 6" blood clot. If it wasn't for Kim's close assessment and follow-up, my mother would have lost her leg. We are very appreciative for what she did. I know she was busy and in charge that night but she made time to properly assess the situation and did what needed to be done. The nurses have all been fabulous to my mother and our family. This is a great group of professional and caring healthcare providers.
