Kim Thames, RN

I found myself as a patient in the ER, dealing with a terrifying issue that I could not get out of. Kim Thames was my nurse, and she took exceptional care of me. She was there with me from the moment I walked in the door; she advocated for me and never left my side. I am also an ER nurse, and I never understood what it was like to be a patient and feel helpless, but having Kim with me to reassure me, hold my hand, and advocate for my needs is something I will never be able to thank her enough for. I never once felt judged or dismissed. I was only met with kindness, empathy, and understanding of what I was going through. She took amazing care of me medically, but she also took care of me emotionally and mentally. She followed up with me after discharge several times to make sure I was doing better. She is truly the best of the best & I am eternally grateful she was with me that day!
