I was instantly touched by Kim's incredible thoughtfulness when I first met her.As a nurse, it is her job to care for the patients but she is not required to care for me, a family member of the patient.She did not only go above and beyond for my father, but she took great care to make sure that I was comfortable as well.
My father is a cancer patient.His liver is failing and Kim went through the trouble of inserting the NG tube into his nose to administer meds after he was no longer able to take them orally.My father struggled and gave her an extremely hard time and all she can say was how glad she was that the tube didn't come out of his mouth.Her positive and sunny disposition is infectious and gave our family hope.We can't thank her enough for how she made sure my father and I received the best care possible.
