My newborn and I were recently in Labor and Delivery and Mrs. Kim was amazing! She was so understanding of our needs. She made sure we were as comfortable and peaceful as possible. This is one compassionate woman. It is not often you meet people like this and I just feel that she needs to be recognized. She is truly a woman of God. She was with me way after her shift was over and I don't mean 30 minutes to an hour. She was with me for hours and yet there was still a glow to her. Even though she looked tired, she made sure that I ate before she left after working a 16 hour shift. She went and got me dinner because the administration was out of sandwich boxes. That was something she did not have to do, and it was very thoughtful of her. She took her time and showed me how to properly use a breast pump so that I could feed my baby. She encouraged me to breastfeed and I'm thankful. She showed me how to pump again when I came back a few days later and was admitted for care. She helped with my baby while I was getting myself better and I really appreciate her for that. I was also here a couple of months ago for exhaustion and she suggested I take a couple of days off from work so that I could rest. She was thinking of both my physical and mental needs as well. These are experiences that I will never forget. I can tell that she does all of this from the heart and is an example of how everyone in life should be, especially in this field and working environment. She is a very important asset to the community. She is very inspiring, and she touched my heart. Please keep this beautiful lady around! I hope this story made a difference!
