Kimber is always an attentive and detail oriented nurse, but I was very impressed the night she was floated as the Telemetry tech and helped a patient on the medical floor. She noticed an unusual heart rhythm and encouraged the cardiologist to recheck it. It ended up being an atrial flutter and not just sinus tachycardia. This finding changed some of the direction of care and treatment for the patient, and even cardiology mentioned that the correct rhythm had not been caught for months. Way to scrutinize the details! Glad she's on our team.
