Kimberlee Carino, RN

As soon as I was admitted, Kimberlee Carino and Katherine Li were attentive to all of my needs. Not only physical, but also mental needs. My family and I stayed in good spirits through jokes and laughter. These nurses, somehow, picked up on that fact and very professionally joined in. It immediately made me feel like a human; they knew this would keep my spirit up. Even though this level of engagement, their ability to work with a high level of accuracy was not diminished as they echoed my med, record, information, doctors' orders, transfusion setup, and administrative double-checked on medicine and allergy. They even asked if my family needed anything. Being admitted is terrifying. These nurses made me feel like I had two others who had my best interests and health in mind.
