When I got to the pharmacy they told me Kim tried to pay for the medication because she felt bad the wrong one had been sent up.
I have been receiving bladder treatments at the Minot clinic for over 15+ years. Kim has always gone above and beyond when giving this treatment. The treatment I get needs to be mixed when I arrive at the clinic. She brings the ingredients with her from Bismarck and mixes them in Minot when I arrive.

Recently, the pharmacy gave her an extended-release medication for the treatment. This medication could not be crushed for the solution they put in my bladder. Kim came to me in the waiting room to say she couldn't give the treatment because the wrong medication was sent. I thought I might have that medication at home as an old prescription, but rather than having me drive home to look, Kim scoured through many years’ worth of records with the medications I have been prescribed in the past. Unfortunately, it was also an extended-release medication and could not be used. I told Kim I would drive to Bismarck the next day to get the treatment. We set up a time for me to be there, and I left the clinic.

About 20 minutes later, I got a call from Kim saying that I could get one tablet of the medication needed from Thrifty White Drug for $11. I told her I would pick it up so I don't have to drive down to Bismarck for the treatment. She said she would send in the prescription right away, and I would pick it up and bring it to the clinic. When I got to the pharmacy they told me Kim tried to pay for the medication because she felt bad the wrong one had been sent up. The pharmacy also said that they told her the wrong price, and the medication was, in fact, 15 cents. Kim said she would pay for that and the pharmacy said we will take it out of our penny jar. This is the type of thing Kim does for all of her patients. Whenever I see her talking with another patient she is smiling and friendly. If there is a problem, she will try to figure out a solution. Her compassion and care for her patients shines through in everything that she does.
