Kimberlee Reed has worked as a Registered Nurse at St. Joseph's Hospital for 10 years, the last 3 years in the Endoscopy Unit. She has recently accepted a position as the Unit Coordinator for Endoscopy. Kim comes to work every day with a smile on her face and the energy to move mountains. She possesses outstanding clinical skills and has helped precept and mentor new staff to the department. Despite the fast-paced environment of the Endoscopy unit Kim has a way of connecting with her patients on a very personal level and ensures that she identifies their individual needs. As her DAISY award nomination states Kim is able to make patients feel like they are the most important part of her day. Kim is a role model for her peers on professional nursing and truly deserving of the DAISY Award.
