I went to St. Francis Eastside ER one evening after developing serious complications after a surgery I had five days previously. After being examined by Dr. K, who ordered necessary tests, I was placed under the care of Kim, who was not only a highly skilled and professional nurse, but was very adept at applying the healing medicines to treat me that don’t come in a bottle. Compassion, concern, a caring attitude, friendliness, cheerfulness, always ready and willing to help me when I needed assistance. She kept me informed as we awaited the results of the tests and checked in on me often. It was reassuring to have such a kind and caring nurse, which helps take the edge off my worries about my condition. Her dedication was further displayed when she stayed on after her shift ended because she “wanted to make sure that I received my medications” when they came down from the Pharmacy. I was very fortunate and am very thankful for having such a wonderful nurse during what was a very difficult time for me. Thank you!
