Kimberley Carey is my favorite nurse. We really bonded the first night she was my nurse because she saw that I was crying and she hugged me and talked to me for a long time. She smiles and calls me her sweet girl. I like how she makes me feel. She comes every time I call her. She explains the things that are going to happen or that I do not understand. I asked her to do little things for me and never says in a minute or that she is too busy. She always says of course or no problem. She comes in even when I don’t call. It is hard to be in the hospital. The ICU is noisy so she gives me ear plugs and warm blankets to help me go to sleep. She even tucks me in and one night I asked if she would say a bedtime prayer and she did. So now we do it every night. She is a good nurse and a good woman. I love her and will never forget her.
