I was admitted to BCCH for just one day. Kimberley was my nurse during my admitting time and then again when I was leaving. I can attest to her extraordinary compassionate care. She took the time to make sure I understood every medicine and procedure that was done. She became just personal enough to make me feel comfortable. She explained the care that I was being given in a way that made me comfortable and relaxed. I felt like she was in my corner, cheering for me to get better and I didn't have anyone in my corner to do that for me. Although busy on the floor, she checked in with me and made me smile even when I didn't feel like I could. I want her to know that she made a difference with me. Thank you.
