Kim was a ray of sunshine and energy! N started peritoneal dialysis and this process was scary to me, not knowing what to expect. She anticipated my anxiety and walked me through what would be happening. There were repeated delays with the pharmacy sending up a particular epilepsy medication. She ensured to brief her relief nurse and kept watch on the timing, so that the delay did not adversely affect N. Kim even brought in some silly putty for N when she found out she liked Playdough-type activities. Her genuine dedication is easily displayed.
