I have watched Kim care for many patients, and it's like she is caring for her own children. Recently, I had the pleasure of witnessing Kim reunite with a past patient now 11 months old. He immediately clung to Kim like she was a second Mom. Meanwhile, Mom and Dad were tearing up. You could tell they had a special bond, and that Kim will be forever a part of their lives. It's hard to describe on paper, but that was the true "Art of Nursing" at its finest. She is truly an extraordinary nurse. She inspires me to be a better nurse. I wish all patients could have that kind of a bond with their nurse.
