One of the darkest days of my life was the day my mom came in for a mastectomy. When we walked in to sit with her before surgery, Kim had a smile on her face and was full of joy and made that time bearable. She even kissed my mom on her forehead before leaving and told her she was a blessing to her. As long as I live, I will never forget the loving, smiling and giving spirit she gave that day.
