Kim was called into the ED after working several extra shifts to care for a developementally delayed 14 year old who had been removed from the only home he had know earlier in the day. He was aggitated, confused and afraid. He was functioning on the level of a 2-3 year old child. Kim not only came in to care for him, She brought bubbles, crayons, and other toys with her. She played with him and he was able to come out of restraints and was giggling and responsive to her. Her compassion and concern are evident in every patient she touches.
