As I entered the ED I was in a significant amount of pain in my chest pain and left shoulder. I thought I was having a heart attack. Unfortunately, that was only the beginning. The pain I was in quickly escalated to pain levels I had never experienced before. I literally thought I could die. Morphine and diluted did not touch it. I was in such agony. Kim stayed by my side. She escalated my needs to the Emergency physicians, Cardiology, and Surgeons. She has such incredible skill, instinct, and compassion. My husband was there with me the entire time as well. My husband was my rock, and Kim was my lifeline. I will forever be grateful.
