Kim knows her patients very well and shows compassion continually.
Kim has a leadership quality that merits recognition. Specifically, Kim displays confidence and the ability to problem-solve and give directions during times of high stress and acuity. Kim has a strong leadership quality by showing the ability to separate "friendship" from peer/subordinate.
Kim has a maturity and accountability level that many nurses are still learning to master. Again, specifically, Kim puts forth extra effort to assist her peers with labs, documentation issues, incident reporting, etc. in a fashion that promotes teamwork and positive attitudes.
Kim continually promotes accountability for herself and others regardless of how "tough" things are on the unit. With regards to patient care - Kim knows her patients very well and shows compassion continually. Kim also displays the ability to set standards/expectations with the patients by enforcing unit rules and guidelines.
Kim is honest with her work and peers.
