When I mentioned it to Kim, she completely empathized with me and made it her mission to find the ring.
My mother has been in the hospital for over a month, with many stops: ER, 7W, ICU on both 6W and 5E, OR, CT, and MRI, and finally in hospice on 2W. It has been a really unfortunate series of events with my mother experiencing rare complications from the procedures she has had received that ended up with her at the end of life. As we are mourning her departure, we realized her wedding ring was not on her hand. Mom was married to Dad for 50 years before he passed in 2019, and my mother NEVER took off that ring. I mentioned to anyone I could find about the missing ring and it didn't turn up. When I mentioned it to Kim, she completely empathized with me and made it her mission to find the ring. She, for days, called anyone she could to see if it would turn up, and personally filed a report on the lost ring. Kim also took it upon herself to go to each of the floors she was on to see if the ring was there. After a few days, she continued to look and turned over one more stone and found the ring! Most people would never have gone the extra mile and persevered as Kim did to look for this special family item. We are grateful for Kim's passion for her patients, and integrity in doing the right thing. I am so grateful for her and what she has done for my mom and our family.
