Kim has one of the most caring and compassionate hearts I've ever had the pleasure of encountering. I've experienced Kim as a nurse from the perspective of a patient myself, as a co-worker, and as an employee. Recently, there was a patient who lived alone, was grossly immobile with worsening wounds, and needed to see a physician. The patient thought he'd lined up transportation with a hired caregiver who canceled at the last minute. Kim stepped in and contacted a cab company (willing to pay for the cab out of her own pocket if need be), went to the patient's home, assisted him into the cab, then returned after his appointment to help him get back into his home and comfortable (on top of her regularly scheduled workday). These little extra steps are not a rarity for Kim. She shows every single one of her patients the same love and care. She is an exceptionally kind spirit and embodies everything that makes a good nurse.
