There was never a hesitation from her to do whatever I needed, with a compassionate, nurturing, caring attitude, and much patience.
2 weeks before Christmas, I was admitted to Tarboro for surgery, transferred to Rehab, where I got the flu and pneumonia, and was taken to ER with complications. Thank God there was no room in the "inn" in Tarboro or Greenville. I was sent to ICU in Washington and was blessed to be cared for by your absolutely most caring, knowledgeable nurse in ICU. There was never a hesitation from her to do whatever I needed, with a compassionate, nurturing, caring attitude, and much patience.
Kim is the kindest, most professional, and the best nurse that I have had in my almost 80 years. Every patient who is fortunate enough to be cared for by Kim will always remember her. I was not able to get out of bed without assistance. Many tubes, lines, needles, and Kim was always there doing everything that was needed, as well as keeping me clean, making sure I was treated with respect and dignity. This is a rare gift in an ICU unit. She never acted like she was too busy. She had the most patience. She is an extraordinary nurse and human being.
