I have had the opportunity to experience the care provided by Kimmie as both a patient's mother and a patient myself. My first experience was in the role as a patient's mother when my son had to receive a COVID test. The first time he had a COVID test, it was painful and had to be repeated leading to many tears. Walking into his second round of a COVID test, he was extremely nervous. Kimmie was quick to notice that he seemed nervous and joked with him to put him at ease.

My second experience with Kimmie was as a patient waiting in the waiting room. While I was waiting, I visited with a mother of a child who was waiting to be seen in the Convenient Care Clinic. Kimmie came out to share that there may be a little bit of a wait. She understood that the mother of the child was nervous about her child's status and brought tools out to the waiting area to quickly assess the patient and ease the child's mother while they were waiting. The care and compassion that was shown while updating this mother about delays was so impressive to both the mother of the child and me.
