Kimberly Moore, MSN, RN, CEN, CCRN

Kim Moore was very instrumental in caring for a patient in MICU 3 this weekend so that he could be with his dying wife who was in STICU. The wife was an elderly person who was on her way to the hospital to visit with him and she was involved in a catastrophic car accident where she sustained fatal injuries. She was alive in STICU for several hours and because of Kim, they were able to spend her last few hours together. Both of the critical care units should be commended for their deep interdependence and compassionate service to this sweet elderly couple.
