Kimberly Moronez, RN
I would like to recognize Kim for her exceptional care during my labor, delivery, and postpartum experience. From the very beginning, Kim went above and beyond in ways that made an impact on our family and made all the difference in my labor and delivery experience.
She chose to stay past the end of her shift so she could remain with me while I delivered our first baby, offering support during a very vulnerable experience. When my husband was asked to step out of the room during my epidural, Kim held my hands, rubbed my arms, and spoke calm, encouraging words that eased my anxiety.
Throughout the entire labor process, Kim took the time to thoroughly explain each step, ensuring I felt informed, supported, and at peace despite my anxious mind. After a complicated delivery and recovery that required a blood transfusion, she intentionally sat with both my husband and me, offering reassurance and comfort and a pleasant distraction.
Although she was not required to follow up, Kim made the effort to ask to see us at my two-week postpartum appointment, where she checked in on our family and celebrated our new baby.
Her care was deeply motherly, intentional, and compassionate, and she truly went above and beyond for me, my husband, and our new baby.
