January 2026 Honoree
Kimberly Moss, RN
Kim came to GRHS as an agency nurse on January 25. She worked on Unit 5 Forensics, where she was a dedicated, reliable, and caring nurse. Kim puts a strong emphasis on developing a rapport with the individuals and interacts with them with care and compassion. In May 2025, she responded to a request to fill in as a campus supervisor at night by stating she would be more than willing to go where we needed her. Kim provides excellent supervision to the staff on all units.
As a supervisor, she responds to all codes and has been instrumental in de-escalating patients who have histories of aggressive behaviors. In a recent situation, Kim verbally intervened with an individual who had a history of severe aggression and kept him talking until he agreed to go sit in a room with her. This prevented a situation where many staff could have been injured. Kim responds to all requests for assistance and uses her expertise to solve problems. She faces all stressful situations with a calm approach and works out solutions that help the hospital function in a safe manner. Kim is a strong team player and flexible when needed. GRHS is very fortunate to have Kim on our nursing team.

Thank you, Kimberly, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
