Kim was our mother's nurse on the day we chose to discontinue life support for our mom. No words can describe what calmness and supportive care she gave to us as family members, and the compassionate care given to Mom. Thank you, Kim, your professionalism was matched only by your sincerity.
***
Kim is a very talented RN, technically adept and a resource to her colleagues. Her skill is not only appreciated by her peers, but also by her patients and their families. As an L2 Specialty care RN, Kim spends the majority of her time in the ED and CCU, providing emergency and critical care to our community members that need it. She is outstanding in difficult situations, someone you can rely on to maintain a clear plan when things may be deteriorating. With all of that, she keeps the emotional needs of the patient and family front and center. Her practice is based on her understanding of the balance between helping patients to live, and helping them to die peacefully. Thank you for the great work you do every day Kim.
