During my father's stay at St. Mary's Hospital, there were many nurses, nurses' aides, and support staff who were amazing. However, there was one nurse who truly stands above, and that is Kimberly. She was an amazing presence while our family was coping with a new diagnosis for my father. She understood our concerns and fears and that help prepare us for the changes ahead.
I had no worries when I left and Kimberly was working. I knew I was leaving my father in capable hands. She consistently provided compassionate care while utilizing her critical thinking skills. She always kept my father at the forefront. She also cared for us, his family. Kimberly was knowledgeable and answered our many questions and she listened, really listened, to us. Kimberly gave us peace of mind and we were so blessed to have her as my dad's nurse.
