Kim Pringle is not just a compassionate nurse; she is a compassionate and caring co-worker. As a clinician in the MICU she exemplifies leadership. She leads by example by extending herself everyday for her patients and her peers. She refuses to leave her assignment to take charge because she does not want to leave the bond that she has made with her patients. Her concern for the staff is truly remarkable in that she worries over not only their physical health but their emotional well being also. She is quick to go to the UD when she worries about a co-worker over extending themselves and is willing to do whatever is necessary to ensure both the co-worker and the patient’s safety.
