During T's final 4 week plus stay at CTCA, Kimberly was often our nurse. Kimberly lit up the room when she came in. T always loved knowing that Kimberly was his nurse. He loved and trusted her, and so did I. In the final weeks of T's life, Kimberly was always available to us to explain what was happening and what was going to happen. Kimberly even came in on her day off to visit T and me. We needed to know that we had friends during such a horrible season of our lives. One night I was so upset and Kimberly offered to drive me to my hotel. I made it to the hotel, but did text her upon arrival as I had promised. Kimberly's heart, care, and compassion are top notch. As we transferred T onto the Funeral Directors cart, Kimberly spoke to T with the same love and care as she had when he had been alive. That will stick with me always.
