Kimberly Rhode was nominated by a patient that could not say enough about her as a nurse and a person. This patient came in to the Emergency Room after a traumatic event and not only received exceptional care but also compassionate care. Not only were her medical needs addressed but Kimberly paid close attention to her emotional and psychological needs. The patient stated that Kim made sure she had a smile on her face and out of the blue brought her a hospital bear. This helped her emotionally. The nurse also told her to keep her head up and that everything will get better. The patient stated she couldn't have asked from someone to be so nice and supportive.

This is just one of many stories of extraordinary compassionate care that we have received regarding Kimberly Rhode. She is constantly going above and beyond to make sure that her patients are not only cared for but making sure patients and their families have a positive experience while visiting our Emergency Room. Her nursing skills and her amazing personality have made a difference in the lives in our community. She is recognized as an outstanding role model.
