Heeding the call to nursing in 1987, Kim still has that wide-eyed wonder of a new nurse, ever learning and improving her practice. Her many years of experience provided her the ability to mentor and shape countless new nurses beginning their careers.

Many nurses who have been in the trenches become burned out, disillusioned with moral distress. Kim’s outlook on life, sense of equality, and service to others has made her resilient, open to learning, and providing compassionate care.

Kim always goes above and beyond for patients and her coworkers. She is extraordinary and the most caring person I know!
