Kim was such a kind and compassionate nurse and gave my granddaughter the confidence to speak to the doctor about her abuse. She requested that nurse Kim hold her hand during the physical exam and was told about everything the doctor was going to do. She encouraged my granddaughter to speak up and told her if any part of the exam became to painful or uncomfortable to tell her. She also encouraged her to ask questions about what was going on and why certain tests were being done. Nurse Kim took the time to gain our trust and she never showed any judgement about why we were there. Nurse Kim took my granddaughter and played games with her while I was able to speak with the doctor privately about what happened.

My granddaughter is so young to have had to deal with this situation and talks about her angel nurse every day. I have a new outlook about Metro hospital and truly feel that GOD put Nurse Kim in our path that day and has helped my granddaughter cope with this situation. She now has good memories about her trip to Metro and not horrible memories about the invasive exam that took place. Thank You for the bottom of our hearts!
