Kimberly Sweat, RN

I'm pleased to you that my experience today was nothing but positive! From the Joint Replacement class to the brief meeting with the Anesthesiologist, I found everyone to be personable, and very pleasant- even my phlebotomist was smiling. 

However, my encounter with Kim Sweat truly sticks out! Kim and I had a great exchange as she gathered the information needed for an excellent outcome when I will have my knee replacement procedure. I felt very comfortable and at ease with Kim. I thought before I met her that it would be like an "automatron," just asking questions. Boy, was I wrong! Kim was as sincere as could be and took the time to ask about my answers. She allowed me to rattle & ramble parts of the responses that I thought might matter (whether they did or nor). I'm a verbal person, and it makes me feel good about myself to sometimes explain "me" to others. She listened with interest and patience. Aside from the obvious skills she has as a nurse, her soft demeanor put me at ease and helped me feel that I'd chosen the right hospital. If half the staff are as wonderful as Kim Sweat, I will have the excellent outcome I'm praying for.
