Kim went out of her way to ensure my comfort and successful recovery during my hospital stay. I was admitted four days after my baby was born and I was pretty distraught being away from her. Kim shared her personal story and gave me much needed advice to ensure in my mind that I was doing the right thing for my family. She also put in a request for me to speak to someone from the psych team, to aid in my recovery. She checked on me often, laughed with me, and cried with me. The day I was discharged, she was working as a charge nurse, but wasn't assigned to me. Before I left, she came in and checked on me, gave me one last boost of confidence, and a much-needed hug. Kim truly made me feel like I was her only patient. I wouldn't be where I am today physically or mentally if it wasn't for her.
