Kimberly is continuously volunteering for extra visits and taking time to really work with an often difficult population. She coordinates care with other staff efficiently and is amazing at reaching out asking for help as needed. One situation that really stands out is that she is working with a patient with chronic disease who has been on/off services both inpatient and outpatient. This patient has a supportive but scared spouse, and this nurse has given so much education and time to support this family. She has been involved in getting supplies, MD appointments, and supportive staff assistance to help this patient and family succeed in wound healing and long-term disease management. I have had many compliments from the patient and spouse that this nurse is so supportive, very educational, and overall just a great nurse!
