She’s very detail when it comes to communicating with her patients and coworkers, very adaptable to support teamwork, and goes the extra mile to help someone who's looking for help on our unit.
Kim took a second to explain what each medication was needed for. She crushed the meds and fed it to my grandmother with the rest of the apple sauce. Kim also provided a shake because she wasn’t sure if Grandmother ate. We appreciate the care!!!!

Kimberlyn is a great team player at work. She takes care of her assigned patients properly and discharges and admit patients in a timely manner. Kimberlyn helps the unit also with Spanish interpretation during acute needs such as when code greens or rapid responses occur.

Every morning on the unit, we start by recognizing team members who go above and beyond, or a team member who embodies the RISES values. Kim is that staff member. She exhibits a positive attitude in every circumstance and is 100% committed to teamwork on the unit. She always jumps in to help in a rapid or even a minor situation when a fellow staff member needs help. I have observed her interactions with her patients, and she is extremely caring. I often see her check in with them after being off the unit for a day and returning to work (even if they are not her patients). Kim is responsive and committed to giving the best care she knows how. She brightens and lifts both the patient's spirits and the staff.

Kim A is one of the best Nurses of 7N IMCU. She is very calm, caring, and very empathetic towards patients and their family members. She is often complimented for her outstanding nursing care of our patients. Kim uses her critical thinking skills and pays attention to everything.
