My 87-year-old mother-in-law was transferred from Baldwin, WI to United. She had sepsis and eventually had an appendectomy. Kim cared for my mother-in-law with empathy, expertise, and compassion. Despite my mother-in-law's fear of hospitals – her very first surgery – Kim kept her calm, encouraged her, and provided an intense level of care and comfort. She also did an amazing job making a connection with our family. Thank you, Kim! We are deeply grateful and appreciative of you and your nursing skills! You made my mother-in-law’s frightening experience at the beginning one where she felt comfortable and trusting of you. We know how truly remarkable this is, and you did it.
