Learning to live with cancer is emotionally challenging. Reflections on the "how" and "why" leave so much unanswered. It helps to know that others have survived and even prospered. This causes one to have hope. That hope goes a long way to recovery. Life, after all, goes on. Kimi and I spoke when we could about the future, our past, and even about the moment. Her bubbly attitude and the concern she shows to each patient really helped me get past the initial questioning.
Putting into words the extra support that Kimi so freely gave, just doesn't do justice to what I experienced. So how do I say, "thank you"? Kimi, you are a health spa in a world of confusion and darkness. Thank you for all you have done for me!
