She kept us laughing and connected with us on a personal level when things looked rough.
Firstly, every nurse, nurse tech, CT tech, etc. was amazing. There was not a single person who appeared less than the other. So many staff members here helped us every step of the way even if my husband was not necessarily “their” patient. We are so grateful for the nurses and techs here!

This nurse, however, did stand above the rest. If an IV beeped, needing something, she was here before the call button was ever pushed. The first night we were admitted, my husband had to do an emergency endoscopy and colonoscopy. Being 32 years old, made this his first colonoscopy. This nurse made that first miserable, sleepless night so much better. She encouraged him to get through the prep kit when he had all but given up. She kept us laughing and connected with us on a personal level when things looked rough. She always offered help that you wouldn’t think was her “job” per se. We were less than thrilled when my husband had to be admitted for a second night, but knew this nurse would be his overnight nurse again and that made it so much easier. This nurse explained everything they did along the way, never keeping us in the dark. Honestly, it just felt great to laugh and talk with her to keep our minds off the negative. She is truly a blessing, and we couldn’t be happier with the care my husband received from her and everyone else.

Thank you all so much. Thank you Wesley Long nurses and Techs! You are Literal Lifesavers!
