My nurse tonight is Kimrita and I swear she has been nothing short of amazing. I’m hospitalized a lot so I’m at this facility often and always receive good care for the most part but nothing like this!!! Kimrita literally goes above and beyond for her patients and I’m saying that because I’m also in awe of how patient and attentive she is with my roommate. I have sickle cell disease and she made sure to put an alarm on her phone to make sure I get my pain medication on time. Then she returns to reassess my pain. I can honestly say I went this whole night with not having to be in excruciating pain or having to wait for medication. She is so compassionate, caring, extremely hard-working and so much more. My roommate has to use the bathroom often and she can’t go alone because she’s a fall risk and Kimrita assured her that she’ll be here each time to assist her to the restroom and she kept her word! She didn’t look annoyed or anything of that sort. She was kind to her each time and didn’t rely on the techs or anyone to assist her and I know for sure she was really busy being that she was charge nurse too. Whenever she came in the room to give me my meds she also kept asking my roommate if she was okay and for my roommate to please let her know if she needs anything. I am so satisfied with the care I received from her and I am extremely grateful that she was my nurse. She is a true DAISY Nurse.
