My son became an inpatient for the second time. On Sunday he was sad about being in the hospital again and was not smiling. Knowing that he had pulled a tooth on Saturday evening, Kinley asked me if it was okay if she gave an old tradition some new fun. She typed up a letter and picked out two toys based on conversations she had with him about things/ hobbies he enjoys. Even when her shift ended she had things in place to help my son believe in magic again. When he woke up Monday morning he had a letter and two gifts from the tooth fairy. Being a 9-year-old, he sometimes does not believe in the tooth fairy. Because of Kinley's thoughtfulness, he now believes in the tooth fairy again. He also believes in himself for overcoming the situation. Thank you for helping him to believe again. I am forever grateful.
