After experiencing a traumatic event at our local Kroger store last evening, I entered the ER feeling as if the world is a violent, unkind, and sad place - but then the sun did shine once again when Miss Kirbie, my nurse, entered my room. Her spirit and level of compassion that she set before me altered my sense of the world, and it also inspired her team. People enter your doors with high hopes of leaving feeling better and with great hope for the future, and Miss Kirbie accomplished that!! She treated me with peace and calm and helped to facilitate my care as a true healer only could!! She is the healing hands and heart we all seek when we need care.
