Kiria Griffith, RN

Kiria took the best care of my grandfather leading up to his passing. The night we visited him, the unit was so busy. Kiria was being pulled in so many directions to help younger nurses, answer call bells and deliver turkey sandwiches to patients, in addition to helping with a code blue admission. She was handling all of this and still had time to let us share stories of him with her before his passing. Kiria coordinated with the doctors to come with us at the time of the night when he lost his heart rhythm. I am a nurse myself, and there is no other nurse more deserving of this award than Kiria. She is clearly a leader on the unit and leads with such care and compassion. Thank you so much for taking care of my Pappy. We were so comforted by the fact that you took the time to clean and talk with him. You are the most comforting for our family.
