I really wish to express my gratitude to the doctors and nurses at UP Health System – Portage at Hancock, MI. My wife felt the water break on Dec 16 at night, and our baby was in 37 weeks + 4. This is our first time being mom and dad, so we were super excited but anxious at that time. Then I made one of the best decisions in my life – I called the Hancock Family Health Center and get my baby delivered safely.

Kirsten answered my call on the weekend night and already got everything ready when we reached the hospital. On all three nights when we stayed there, Kirsten was always there and helped us from the delivery to the postpartum care. She patiently instructed us on how to take care of the baby, took care of my wife, and cleaned the delivery room. She also helped us to take care of the newborn for three nights and thus my wife and I can finally got a chance for a rest.
