Kirsten Mutchler, RN

Kirsten was my angel nurse. She of course performed all her nursing duties to the best I could have ever imagined or asked for. But then she went above and beyond nursing duties and became an emotional and physical support to me while I was in my most vulnerable and weakest moments as a human and woman. While I was in active labor and pushing, I was losing faith in myself and my abilities. I was in so much pain and was losing my grip on myself. During the whole process, Kirsten was right there with me. She met me where I was in that moment and held my hand, kept encouraging me, validated me, and truly nurtured me. I felt so heard, like she was a dear friend who was completely there for me. I needed her there for a reason and I’m so grateful she was my nurse to help me and my husband welcome our little girl into the world. I’m indebted. She will always be a part of my daughter’s birth story forever. Grateful and honored.
