Kirsten Rekos, BSN, RN CPN

Not only did Kirsten build trust with me, but more importantly, my child! There’s something special about Miss Kirsten that stood out to my little fighter. Something felt like home. She was able to put her mind at ease under such unfortunate circumstances. It was in those moments, I realized I wanted to be just like Kirsten one day. Strong, brave, compassionate, and, most importantly, a pediatric nurse. Miss Kirsten is someone who is not only phenomenal at her job but loves to do it with a smile on her face even when I couldn’t and held my baby’s hand even when I wasn’t strong enough to. She went as far as to come in on her days off. She brought life to the room on the darkest days.
