Kirsten took care of my daughter while she was in the ICU. Kirsten came on duty, and we spoke with my daughter and everything changed for the better. She put up a sign saying that my daughter wanted anyone entering her room to announce their name and the purpose of their visit and speak to her as a conscious individual, even if her eyes were closed. She did everything to make my daughter feel comfortable with all the ICU "technology" and procedures. She explained what was going on under all circumstances and helped our family understand the reason for all that was happening. Kirsten's quiet competence and compassionate care truly helped my daughter with her recovery from a very serious infection and multiple operations.
