When nurse Kirsten found out that a patient who had been with us for a month was planning to drive himself home and had minimal caregiving available to him, she went above and beyond to ensure the patient could have a smooth transition home. She explained everything to him in detail, helped him clean the snow off his car, and set up a dedicated phone line for regular follow-up.

Part of my job involves talking to patients and ensuring that there are no gaps in their care. The most common feedback I get from them is that Kirsten is one of the best and most compassionate nurses they have ever had. She stands out as a nurse who cares deeply about her patients and is willing to go above and beyond for them.
