My time visiting the NICU was rough. I haven't experienced this, and it was a bit overwhelming, and I was extremely sad. Kirsten's conversations were a bit refreshing as they were something different to talk about and think about. Most of my family is constantly asking, "How are you feeling?" and it can be the worst question. It felt good to have normal conversations some days. It may not sound like a lot, but it was very meaningful. Also, her time and care for my baby girl were unmatched. Congrats on your little one, wishing you all the best.
