Kirstie Beckstrom, RN

There have been so many situations in which Kirstie has shown extraordinary compassion, knowledge and comfort to the patients on the unit. She is constantly and fiercely advocating for our patients and ensuring they get the care they deserve. With one patient in particular her commitment to her role as a nurse and caregiver has stuck with me. This particular patient is one who frequents our floor often and for extended periods of time. She has sat with this patient numerous times, holding their hand, comforting them, making sure they understand the plan of care and that their family is well cared for too. She leads by example, and we are so lucky to have her.
