A true Team player! She serves on multiple committees, but primarily on the Marketing and Mentoring committee, where she is loved and respected by the team because of her commitment and drive.
This nurse started her career at SPUH as a Nursing Assistant while pursuing further education towards her goal to be a Registered Nurse. She was described by her peers and nurses as a great nursing assistant, a team player by all who she worked with. She was very conscientious of the care she rendered to all her patients. After completing Nursing school, she was hired into an RN position and has been a dedicated RN. She has worked in different specialties over the years. She would always be one of the first to volunteer for hospital committees, create unit boards and banners, and organize team-building activities. Even on shift, she would regularly check in with co-workers if they needed help with anything -------A true Team player! She serves on multiple committees, but primarily on the Marketing and Mentoring committee, where she is loved and respected by the team because of her commitment and drive. She is the go-to person for so many, both within her work area and the hospital. She’s creative, dedicated, and thoughtful. If you trust Kirstie with a task, it will not only be done but also be done well, and she will see the task through to fruition. She is a strong pillar on the Marketing & Mentoring Committee and works diligently with the team to make the Nurses Month celebrations successful. Besides Nurses Month celebrations, she assists with coordinating the annual nursing graduation ceremony, getting the graduates' pictures and bios, and designing the slide show for the event. These wonderful attributes are evident in her involvement as our hospital’s DAISY Coordinator. She spends countless hours recruiting nurses to nominate their peers and marketing the DAISY program to patients and families. Her impact through the activities, celebrations, and ceremonies she organizes and facilitates is felt throughout the healthcare system. Kirstie has championed a culture of appreciation and recognition, which promotes a positive, healthy work environment, enhances job satisfaction, and strengthens teamwork. Kirstie Patindol is deserving of the DAISY Award.
